A stalled health app, taken over and shipped.
Provide Digital needed eC-Card finished and trusted by the public. We took over the build mid-flight, fixed what was broken, delivered the features that had waited more than a year and launched it on Android and iOS.
The previous agency could not land it.
eC-Card lets young people collect free condoms and sexual health resources discreetly. They download the app, complete short videos and a quiz, find a nearby collection point on a map and scan a QR code to collect. Services run it for their area, with admin portals to manage venues, stock, users, education and notifications.
The first agency on the project was not delivering on time or on budget. The client lost confidence and ended the contract, and the build was handed to us. That was not a cold introduction: we were already delivering other projects for Provide Digital, so they knew how we work and trusted us to take it on.
From handover to both app stores.

Launch
The app went live on Google Play and the Apple App Store, with the client back in control.
What changed under our care.

Accessibility
Accessibility improvements across the app and portals, tested with automated tooling.
Security fixes
Security issues found and fixed, because a health app holds people’s trust.
Admin portals
Super admin, admin and user portals improved: venues, users, reports and configuration.
UI and UX
A cleaner, more consistent interface for the people who use it every day.
Bug fixes
A long list of defects cleared so the product could be released with confidence.
Android and iOS release
Published to both stores, built in Flutter from one codebase.
Venues and stock
Collection points on a live map, with QR codes and stock tracking behind them.
An admin portal that runs the service.
Services use the portal to manage users, venues, stock, education and reports, and to set the rules each service runs by. Screens are blurred to protect test data.
